The Whisk LadyDesserts
Don’t say you’re not a fan till you’ve tried the cheesecakes from The Whisk Lady! The Whisk Lady is a Halal Home Based vendor specialising in homemade cheesecakes!
Basque Burnt Cheesecakes in various flavours including berries and Biscoff are a favourite among patrons.
Historically, Basque Burnt Cheesecake is said to have originated in 1990 in San Sebastian, Spain. The original recipe has a handful of ingredients: cream cheese, cream, sugar, eggs, and flour. Basque cheesecake is often called “burnt” cheesecake due to its iconic rich dark surface. Unlike American cheesecake, Basque cheesecake does not have a crust – exactly as what you would receive from the cheesecakes from The Whisk Lady.
Rich, creamy with an overall soft texture, each cheesecake is unique in its own ways. Never overly sweet, it is extremely easy to keep indulging in these cheesecakes! Fresh and premium ingredients are what The Whisk Lady swears by and this is obviously evident in the turnout of the cheesecakes because you enjoy a delicious generous slice (or two) of homemade cheesecake goodness that’s nearly equivalent to having a creamy cheesecake ice cream!
The Biscoff Basque Burnt Cheesecake is to die for. With a generous topping of crushed Biscoff crumbs on its top, it’s the perfect balance of caramal sweetness and cheesy goodness of the cheesecake. We’re pretty sure it’s impossible for you to stop after just 5 spoons.
If you’re looking for a dessert gift for your family and friends, we also highly recommend the Original Burnt cheesecake with berries. The powder sugar particularly on the top is entirely enticing with the overall burnt caramelized look of the cake! Even better, the sweet vanilla filling coupled with the tinge of sourness from the blueberries is a lovely ending to one’s meal!
Pair these cheesecakes with unsweetened coffee or tea, it’s simply a slice of heaven on earth!
