LEMAK CHILLI API PRAWN PASTA
Everyone would know that Lemak Chilli Api, a recipe usually passed down from a traditional Malay household for generations is a staple in any typical Malay home. It’s close to a coconut chicken curry but with a wonderful spice coming from the use of lemongrass, bird’s eye chillies, kaffir lime leaves and coconut milk. The aroma is addictive and the best way to savour this slowly is to take your time to indulge it.
With huge prawns complementing this pasta dish, the Lemak Chilli Api Prawn Pasta is a hit on our tastebuds! We simply could not get enough of it!
SPICY BUTTERMILK CRAB PASTA
It’s truly amazing that the blend of fresh ingredients for this spicy buttermilk crab pasta dish consists of creamy butter, evaporated milk, bird’s eye chilies, and curry leaves. With the introduction of crabs in this dish, we love the blend of flavours of the sea with a rich, umami, spicy creamy flavour and texture to this number!
The distinct and exotic flavour of this pasta, thanks to the curry leaves is something you’d be wanting to have again and again!
SAMBAL GORENG PENGANTIN PASTA
A surprise pasta dish any given day, the Sambal Goreng Pengantin Pasta really took us by surprise. I mean, who would have thought to combine these two elements together so beautifully?
Sambal Goreng Pengantin itself involves a wonderful marriage of flavours coming from an extensive use of spices including galangal, lemongrass, ginger, tamarind, chillies and coconut milk.
To have Sambal Goreng Pengantin in a pasta version is both creative and genius, appealing to everyone, particularly anyone who’s daring enough to try this in a rice-alternative setting with a Western-Malay twist!
It’s hot, spicy, sweet with a tangy aftertaste, exactly what we love about Sambal Goreng Pengantin Pasta! You simply got it!
