Firstly, we love the generous size of the oblong potato beef balls because it’s a definite upgrade from your usual begedils! Soft in the inside with a crisp on the outer layer, the potatoes itself is very tasty. In the centre lies spiced minced beef which goes so very well with its thick homemade sauce.

The sauce, said to be a secret family recipe, has many layers to it. Sweet and sour, the gravy is also tangy with a slight spice to it! It’s very savoury too especially with the addition of beef chunks in it. When eaten with the hard boiled eggs with the soft beef and potatoes, it makes a truly satisfying meal!
