Established in 2014, the Muslim owned Chabakess does the perfect Basque Burnt Cheesecake. Given it’s overly dark and cracked top crust, it could be easily mistaken as a baking situation gone wrong. Lacking a biscuit base with a soft gooey creamy centre, you would think this is a messy cake to savour.

But once you do savour it, all that perception melts away. Chabakess Basque Burnt Cheesecake is light on the palette and not overly sweet so much so you’d end up indulging more slices that you should!
