Rojak Bandung is a traditional fruit and vegetable salad dish commonly found in Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore. Besauce signature Rojak Bandung consists of mixed cucumber cuts, spinach, tofu, cuttlefish and other vegetables.

Essentially the true star of this dish lies in the sauce. Mixed evenly with the crushed peanuts, the sauce is a mixture of all elements of shrimp paste (petis), palm sugar, lime, garlic, chilli and ketchup. Along with the other ingredients like cuttlefish, kangkong, tofu and such, it’s indeed an explosion of flavours and textures in every mouthful!

Just like every other salad, a fun way to dress the Rojak Bandung is to shake all its content along with the the nutty sauce in it! It’s one of the best ways to get all the sauce evenly spread throughout the ingredients. With the right balance of all its flavours, you’d get a good balance of heat, sweetness and sour.
